Barry Fortey  (bfortey@forteyarbique.com)

Barry has practised law in the west end of Ottawa since he was called to the bar of Ontario in 1973.  For about twenty-five years, he also maintained a satellite office in Richmond, Ontario, and currently has a satellite office in Stittsville.

Barry practises primarily in the fields of residential real estate, wills and estate administration and corporate law, and has participated in and delivered presentations and seminars in those areas on behalf of particular clients as well as to the public at large.  He is a past President of the Ottawa Children's Aid Society and the Centre of Educative Growth, and a past board member of Big Sisters of Ottawa-Carleton and the Roberts Smart Centre.

Mark was born in Ottawa, and has practised law in the city's west end since 1981.  His practice focuses on the areas of residential and commercial real estate, corporate and business law, wills, trusts and estate planning. 

He is a past instructor in the Estate Planning and Administration Section of the Bar Admission Course at Ottawa and has spoken at various real estate and estate planning seminars presented by banks, trust companies and investment firms. 

Mark is a current or former member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Estate Planning Council of Ottawa and the Estates and Trusts section of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario), and is a present or past Advisory Member of the various Boards including the Canadian Association of Home-Based Business and the Community Foundation of Ottawa. 

Outside the office, Mark is a current or past member or director of various community associations including Big Brothers of Ottawa-Carleton, the Kiwanis Music Festival, The Door, the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Eastern Ontario) and the Kiwanis Club of Rideau.
